Ray Davis is set to complement James Cook. His vision, agility, and strength make him a constant threat to break big plays every time he touches the ball. Expect Davis to get significant snaps, especially in short-yardage and goal-line situations where his physical running style can shine and could potentially earn an RB1 nod with all of Josh Allen’s new weapons in the passing game.
James Cook had a breakout year with the Bills, finishing with 1,122 rushing yards, 445 receiving yards, and six total touchdowns, marking the best performance by a Bills running back since LeSean McCoy in 2017. However, the Bills still need a powerful, bulldozer-style running back. Davis could fill this role perfectly. Currently, the Bills' running back room includes James Cook, Ray Davis, Ty Johnson, Darrynton Evans, and Frank Gore Jr.
